The final season of Breaking Bad hit TV screens in 2013, so it's been ten years since we've missed teacher and crystal meth chef Walter White and his dealer Jesse Pinkman (although at least the 2019 movie sequel, El Camino " gave). The two series legends were played by Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, who have slipped into a wide variety of great roles in recent years - but we've been waiting in vain for a "Breaking Bad" reunion in front of the camera to this day... But now there will actually be one, albeit outside of the "Breaking Bad" cosmos: In the 16th season of the US comedy series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", Cranston and Paul will make a guest appearance together and something like that looks like, we find out in the trailer above for the new episodes, which will air in the US from June 7, 2023. Incidentally, this reunion was already teased a few days ago by “It's Always Sunny” leading actor and co-creator Rob McElhenney, who posted a picture of the cast with the two prominent guest stars on Twitter and wrote with a wink: “Name me one Crossover that makes more sense..." Incidentally, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is the longest-running non-animated comedy series in American television history. Anyone who has never heard of it is at least not alone in Germany - the series is still pretty much under the radar in this country. It is not only worth a look because of the numerous guest appearances... It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is about four bar owners, Charlie (Charlie Day), Mac (Rob McElhenney), Dennis (Glenn Howerton) and Deandra (Kaitlin Olson). The four people, who are more or less friends as well, want to keep their pub running and don't shy away from immoral methods to do so - non-stop difficulties are naturally inevitable... Also always part of the game: Dennis' and Dee's stepfather Frank (Danny DeVito), who is also anything but a calm, level-headed personality... In Germany, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" can be streamed on the Sky streaming service WOW. You can currently find 14 seasons there. However, it is not clear when the latest two seasons will follow. *This link to WOW is an affiliate link. By subscribing via this link you are supporting FILMSTARTS. This has no effect on the price.
